I visited The Winking Lizard Tavern in Copley for the first time last weekend. This restaurant is part of a local chain consisting of 17 locations all over Ohio. Many of my friends go there to socialize with a beer or two and while I do not drink alcohol, their menu looked interesting so I decided to stop in for dinner. As you can see from their website, they serve a very very large variety of beer and standard American fare and bar food.
Near the entrance, was a little room housing Brutus (pictured above), a lizard. I had quite a long conversation with him, but he never once winked at me. I wonder if it was something I said. Unfortunately, Brutus was the only interesting thing I found at The Winking Lizard Tavern. I found their service lacking and their food quite mediocre. Perhaps their clientele enjoy their selection of brew because I can not imagine they would go there solely for the food.
