One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Akron is House of Hunan by Suen. They have three locations in the area but the one I frequent is the one in Fairlawn, just outside the city limits. Pictured above is their Mandarin Hot Pork which is one of my favorite dishes to order for my dining pleasure. It’s a simple dish, with slices of pork and green onions tossed in a savory brown sauce, served with rice. This does have some heat to it but never enough for my taste so I ask for extra hot chili oil to drizzle over for a slight kick.
